About Me
My name is Kimberly Perry, and I am the founder and Executive Director of Kairos Faith Sisterhood and Champions Corporation (KFS&C). My journey began at a young age, shaped by significant challenges that instilled in me a deep understanding of resilience and the transformative power of community support.
As a teenager, like many others, I was eager to embrace adulthood, seeking independence and self-sufficiency while navigating the complexities of life. Raised in a household of six children, my relationship with my parents was complicated, and I struggled with feelings of insecurity and isolation. Living in a neighborhood plagued by violence and gang activity, I faced the daily pressures of adolescence, compounded by the emotional turmoil of peer pressure and an abusive relationship that left me feeling lost and alone.
Each day was a battle for safety in an environment where threats loomed large—where simply traveling alone could lead to being robbed, kidnapped, or worse. This reality can deeply affect one’s mental health. Imagine being born into such circumstances and feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders; the need to stay strong while striving to survive can be overwhelming. I found myself in a relationship with someone who had experienced childhood abuse and struggled with anger issues. I made excuses for his instability, failing to recognize that his lack of respect for women stemmed from his own trauma. Years of enduring domestic violence stripped away my sense of self, reducing me to a shadow of my former self, defined solely by his negative perceptions.
This painful journey taught me the vital importance of guidance, self-worth, and the necessity of safe spaces for those who are vulnerable.
Motivated by my experiences and a desire to make a difference, I established KFS&C in December 2022. My mission is to uplift and empower at-risk individuals—especially young women aged 13-30—who are navigating difficult circumstances, including domestic violence, trauma, and socio-economic hardships. I firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where individuals can rediscover their strengths and unlock their full potential

At Kairos Faith Sisterhood & Champions Corporation, our team is made up of 90% women who have courageously faced various forms of trauma, including victims of crime and those navigating grief, as well as individuals with extensive experience in therapeutic environments. Each employee embodies life, love, strength, and freedom, reflecting the resilience required to uplift those we serve.
The term "Kairos" signifies the right or critical moment, highlighting our commitment to providing support when it matters most. "Faith" represents our unwavering belief in KFS&C’s vision. Our dedicated and talented leaders are united by a powerful sisterhood, built on shared experiences and a passionate commitment to transforming lives. KFS&C is not just an ordinary workplace; it is a nurturing space where we empower individuals to boost their self-confidence and conquer life's challenges.
Lastly, "Champions" symbolizes our leaders who have triumphed over adversity, defying all odds that could have deterred them from their paths.
